I'm a strategy consultant and social entrepreneur on a mission of developing the institutions of society that make human kind flourish – democracy, civil society, public discussion, science and education.
For more than 10 years I've led the Domus Dorpatensis (DD) Foundation in Estonia. Under the DD umbrella we've launched many social initiatives, such as the TEDx conferences in Tartu, the Estonian Civil Society Week, the first ever Social Entrepreneurship Incubator in Estonia and so on. Currently the main parts of DD are the next generation leadership program DD Academy and our non-profit consultancy DD StratLab.
Academically I'm doing my PhD research at the University of Tartu on the topic of sustainable transitions, based on my social sciences and economics background.
Being a huge Star Trek fan I've always believed (like Carl Sagan) that the world will be what we make of it.
